Introduction: Sout Ootsuki is a Japanese director and animator known to deliver unique and cutting-edge works using a ‘diverse set of production techniques’ and ‘inspiration from diagonally above’.

Biography: His core areas of work are music video and advertisement production, while also being a proud popularizer of pixel-art movies.

His recent work includes a music video for the track “With love, to the Fighting Warriors” by Southern All Stars, while his most well-known original art creation is the ‘Silly Running’ series.

He started NEWW, a creative team specializing in sustainability in 2018, and he has been featured in “Japanese Motion Graphic Creators” from 2006 - 2018.
