Has a BA in Graphic Design from Tama Art University (2007) and an MA in Animation from Geidai (2010). His graduate film from Tamabi, The Kitty and the Pony (ネコの人とウマの人, 2007) won an Excellence Prize at the 2nd Annual Charanime-kobo Movie Contest (2007).
