Took part in the establishment of mimoid, a creative house based in Tokyo. Yamada studied in Germany as an overseas trainee artist for the Agency for Cultural Affairs. After working as an animator at Garage Film Inc, he went freelance in 2017 and has worked on commercials, music videos, and illustrations with a focus on hand-drawn animation. His works have been highly acclaimed both domestically and internationally, having been awarded and screened at numerous international film festivals. The motifs of his works are the anxieties and fears of modern society.
