Introduction: OxT is a Japanese duo consisting of Masayoshi Ooishi and Tomohiro Oshima (better known as Tom-H@ck), who are under record labels Pony Canyon and KADOKAWA, affiliated with FMF Corporation. They originally collaborated under the name Tom-H@ck ft. Masayoshi Ooishi, but was later changed in 2015 to OxT when they went from a collaboration to a unit.

Biography: The duo first came to life when Masayoshi was selected during an audition for the anime "Ace of Diamond", where Tom-H@ck was in-charge of the opening theme song. In a recording session, they eventually landed on a song titled "GO EXCEED!!", which Masayoshi performed and Tomohiro produced.

After this appearance, they would go on for about a year and a half under the name "Tom-H@ck. featuring Masayoshi Ooishi", before Tomohiro fronted to Masayoshi about how the collaboration didn't feel quite right with him only credited as a featuring artist. As a continuation of this, and during their rise of popularity, Tomohiro made a suggestion to Masayoshi asking if they should start a unit, which Masayoshi responded that he always intended to do so. The unit was officially announced under the name OxT on January 18, 2015.
