Originating from Kyoto Animation, where he worked for the first four years of his career.
He gained a lot of attention for the "Chika Dance" ending animation on Kaguya-sama's third episode, which he storyboarded, directed and key animated by himself. Since then he has kept making waves with his work on EDs, such as the ones for Koisuru Asteroid and Assault Lily: Bouquet, as well as PVs, and other short-length work.
