She is a left-handed woman and enjoys listening to the music of the Japanese rock bands "Bump of Chicken" and "Ellengarden". In 2006, she debuted in the November issue of the Ribon magazine with the manga "Totteoki no uta". In 2016, she visited her German fans at the Leipzig Book Fair. Her shojo manga Hiyokoi was one of the best sold manga since her debut.
