Originating from Oh! Production, Affiliated to A.C.G.T.

At Oh!, he assisted Kazuo Komatsubara on animation direction for the 1987 Devilman OVA. Andou eventually moved to Toei Animation to serve as character designer for Junichi Satou's Mable Town Stories. He became an integral part of the animation staff for Kingyo Chuuihou! and Sailor Moon.

After that, after a period of activity centered on Toei and Triangle Staff works, he has seated at A.C.G.T.
