Introduction: Civilian, previously known as Lyu:Lyu and -itsuka-, is a Japanese three-piece rock band under record labels Sony Records (2016–), SPACE SHOWER MUSIC (2013–) and coolism records (2009–), having previously been under Eustoma Records (2016).

Biography: The band was formed by classmates Hidekazu Koyama, Junichi Katou and Kiyoyuki Arita in 2008 under the name -itsuka-, they changed their name to Lyu:Lyu in 2009, and changed their name once again on July 18, 2016 to CIVILIAN.

Members:

• Hidekazu Koyama (小山秀和, コヤマヒデカズ) – vocalist, guitarist and in-charge of lyrics and composition
• Junichi Katou (加藤純市), better known by stage name Junichi (純市, じゅんいち) – bassist, also helps with composition and arrangement
• Kiyoyuki Arita (有田清幸, ありたきよゆき) – drummer, also helps with composition and arrangement
