Formed: 2015
Introduction: Atarashii Gakkou no Leaders, internationally known as Atarashii Gakko!, is a four-piece, all-female Japanese dance and vocal performance group, signed to 88rising.
Biography: They began in 2015 with a remix of the song "Kamu to Funyan" (噛むとフニャン), and released in 2016 their first original song "Gakkou Ikeya" (学校行けやあ゛). In 2017, they signed with the label Victor Entertainment, and released their second song, "Dokubana" (毒花), which made them known, peaking at the top 84 in the Oricon. In 2018, they released their first album "Maenarawanai" (マエナラワナイ), and in 2019 their second album "Wakage ga Itaru" (若気ガイタル). In 2020, they signed with the American label 88rising and became internationally know as "Atarashii Gakko!". Their goal is to embody the new generation of japanese youth.
