Shigekazu Ochiai was a planner/producer for most of Kitty Film's anime productions which were primarily anime adaptions of Rumiko Takahashi's manga works. This may be because of the fact that Takahashi and Ochiai had attended the same college.
He became part of Kitty Films in 1979, but transferred to Pao House in 1992 and passed away in 1999.
