Ayako Sato, born in Japan, is a composer for electroacoustic music.
She received PhD in research on Luc Ferrari’s works from Tokyo University of the Arts in 2019.
She mainly composes electroacoustic/acousmatic music from recorded daily noises and environmental sounds. Her works have been selected for performances at international conferences and festivals including ICMC, FUTURA, WOCMAT, NYCEMF, SMC, ISSTC, ISMIR, Banc d'Essai (Ina-GRM) etc.
