Takashi Sugiyama

Takashi Sugiyama is a third-year business student at Kansei University. He is the resident of room 205 at Chikuseisou. Generally considered an honor student by the other residents of Chikuseisou, Takashi is an earnest student from the Yamagata Prefecture- a mountainy region. He used to walk ten kilometers through the mountains to get to school and back every day. He was the first convinced by Haiji to give running a chance and has been a significant driving force behind the others. His dedication towards training originally stemmed from wanting to inspire and impress his family, but eventually became something entirely his own.Shindou has light brown hair and curved eyes. He has a mole under one of his eyes. He has a pretty small stature compared to his teammates. He is often seen wearing sweatshirts and pants. Shindou is shown to be very determined and dedicated to running, despite just starting out. He is very pure and wants to help his friends.
