Shitan

Shitan is one of the seven samurai who help and join Fena in his quest.

He is portrayed as aloof, but easygoing, with a strong feeling for his friends. Shitan also shows loyalty and devotion to his companions when he joins Fena's crew with his comrades.

He initially decides to abandon Fena and her friends before being persuaded to betray them and help rescue her. He is more loyal to his friends than to his sense of nationalism as a descendant of the Japanese expedition that sought the Kusanagi sword.
