Rachel Links

Rachel is the head BAHRAM scientist overlooking research and development for the Oribital Frame project. She, along with Dolores Hayes, is taken hostage by an invading UNSF team with intentions of taking her back to Earth to develop Orbital Frame technology for them instead of BAHRAM. After watching Dolores die in an attempted rescue effort, Dr. Links is taken away. After the events of 2167 Idolo, Rachel was thought to be dead. Though she loved James, her dedication to her countrymen on Mars caused her to leave him. She believed that her skills and knowledge could help Mars to gain independence from Earth's oppresion. A little naive at times, not unlike her husband.
