A student of Hope's Peak Academy Class 77-B, and a participant of the Killing School Trip featured in Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair.

Peko initially appears to be rather serious and intimidating, expressing little emotion. However, she isn't unsociable and doesn't mean to act cold. For a long time she didn't smile because she thought it was unnecessary, and she says she eventually forgot how to. Even though she doesn't believe it herself, she is a very kindhearted and selfless person who cares about her classmates, wishing nothing but good for them. She also loves animals, especially pandas, but most animals are scared of her and tend to run away.
