Nina Maehara

Nina is a member of Rat Production's idol group, Fruit Tart, and is in charge of costumes. Ever since she was a little girl, she had been a fashion model for western-style clothes. But now at age sixteen, Nina's height increased - and continues to increase - rapidly. This resulted in difficulty finding work as a model in Japan since such in-demand fashion clothes could barely fit her.

She is sometimes the biggest draw of Fruit Tart, owing mostly to her physical appearance and not necessarily because of her singing or dancing.

Somewhat the antithesis of Roko, Nina is seen as timid and soft-spoken, and just as likely prone to tears whenever she is put on the spot. Like Roko, she is sensitive about her stature and had somehow developed a love for small things as a way to cope with her size. Because of this, her self-proclaimed height of 170 centimeters (5-foot 7-inches) is probably an exaggeration, as she is likely to be much taller in reality.

Nina naturally takes a liking towards Roko and both of them manage to find support in each other for their insecurities. She is also quite attracted to various scents and fragrances, which often causes her to completely lose focus.
