Mohammed Avdol

Avdol is a fortune teller and friend of Joseph Joestar. They met three years before the events of the story. He was born with a stand, Magician’s Red, which controls fire. This stand’s abilities include Crossfire Hurricane, which shoots fire in the shape of an Ankh, and Crossfire Hurricane Special, which splits into multiple Ankh-shaped flames. He can also create flame tracker that detects a person’s energy.

Avdol presents himself as a serious person but can sometimes let his emotions get the best of him. He often acts as the voice of reason among the Joestar group and exhibits strong loyalty by frequently placing himself in danger to protect his friends. He is knowledgeable about geography and stands, enjoys India’s chaotic atmosphere, and respects Polnareff’s chivalrous attitude that he displayed when they first met. Avdol gives Jotaro’s stand its name.

~!Avdol encountered DIO in Egypt before the main events of the story, but was able to escape unscathed.!~

~!At one point he is shot by Hol Horse and presumed dead, but he was actually in hiding and rejoins the Joestar group later. He is killed protecting Polnareff and Iggy from Vanilla Ice.!~

He is named after Paula Abdul.
