Kaatan

A hopeless kappa if ever there was one, it would appear at first that Watashi picked the short straw in selecting this particular kappa from the pet store. Kaatan has great difficulty picking things up, however with an owner as hardworking as Watashi, he gets the best treatment he could ever hope for! (Except for the toothpick thing...) Although able to in Japanese Folklore, kappa in this anime cannot talk and therefore aren't always able to communicate clearly with the humans, though they seem to be somewhat efficient at communicating between themselves, evidenced by the large number of kappa friends Kaatan eventualy makes!
