Joyce Chen

Raven is an exceptionally skilled young zoid pilot, and quickly becomes Van's rival and the anti-hero of the series. Both of his parents died when he was young, and he was trained by Prozen himself. He claims to hate all zoids, although it is later shown that he cares greatly about his black organoid, Shadow. His sarcastic demeanor and reckless fighting style make him out to be a cold, uncaring person in the beginning. He first pilots a Saber Tiger and a Geno Saurer, both of which are detroyed by Van, and then the unique Geno Breaker. The Chaotic Century manga reveals his true name to be Joyce Chen, but this is never mentioned in the anime.
