She is a strong and reliable leader at work, though she struggles with severe alcoholism and even drinks while teaching. She is brave and sometimes reckless in battle, never backing down when others' lives are at stake. Despite having no prior combat experience, she worked hard to become a member of the Assault Squad through grueling training.

She is an adventurous scientist who encountered the Astral Express as a young woman when it got stranded in her homeworld. Years later, when Himeko finally repaired the Express and began her journey into the stars, she realized that this is only the beginning. On her journey to trailblaze new worlds, she met many different people, some of which would later become her companions, and some leaving the Express never to go onboard of it again...
