Three years before the story he and his brother Genba lived in a kennel secluded in the mountains. They resorted to eating humans out of hunger and escaped after Shouji and his partner Tanuma discovered them.

He is a ruthless and cruel leader who loses his temper at anyone who talks back to him. He shows no respect to his opponent and goes to far to humiliate them even after death.
