Claire Thomas is Emily's twin sister where they are both American exchange students at Urama High School, and both are the top junior beach volleyball players in the world. Emily makes up one half of Team Eclair. She quickly becomes close with Haruka because of the similarity of their personalities and they can often be seen together if Kanata is not around.
