Chris Takigawa is a third-year student and a member of the Seidou High School Baseball Team. Because of a shoulder injury he had to take a year of for rehabilitation and lost his position as the starting catcher, but the coach asked him to stay in the position of a manager to guide the team.

He has a gloomy aura around him and all the first years think that he is hard to handle. It is revealed that many pitchers have quit because of him. He is strong willed because as long as a single strand of hope remains, he will never give up on baseball.
